		<description>Yeah, fling. I was shocked to noticed through Bloglines that there are quite a few people subscribed to a dead feed. I hope they all get the message.

I think the tags fit what Yahoo has been trying to do. The taxonomic directory is just too limiting and cumbersome to keep up, though, and I think folksonomic accomplishes something similar but is more natural to keep up.

I do worry though, that with the del.ico.us model, sensationalism seems to win out.

		<description>Gosh, was on your old feed. Didn't realize you were updating again. But the "this feed is dead" notification was neat. More people should do that.

Anyway, I'm kinda confused as to why you say it makes sense. I've always thought that tags fit the "put everything in a big pile" model better than the "nice neat piles" model.

Or do you mean it makes sense in the sense that Yahoo! is abandoning its model in favor of Google and wants to catch up?
