I guess the trouble with text messaging is that when you dial the wrong number, there’s nothing to filter you from spilling your guts to the wrong person – thus nothing to prevent that person from publishing said guts on the internet.

The other day, a coleague of mine received one (with no sender number), which consisted of arranging a rendez-vous (with the supposed recipient) to complete a drug deal transaction.

ha, i keep waiting for the day when 1-900 #’s pick up on this idea. Except, don’t use a 1-900 number, use one of those long distance numbers that ppl don’t know they get charged a shitload from.
random send a text message to a bunch of cell phone numbers (you can do this easily via email.) And say something like:
hey hottie, it was great meeting you last week. i’ve only been thinking dirty thoughts, you should give me a ring back…..
