Users can monitor Craigslist, or any other classifieds site, or any RSS feeds in general. I myself use it to deals on air tickets, among other things. Just copy and paste the URL you'd like to monitor - Craigslist search results, for example - into my web application - and you'll receive SMS messages whenever new items are posted.
